Nasboi is a captivating figure. In an alternate reality, he might be a mythical legend whose stories are shared under moonlight and passed down through generations.
Nasiru, a young artist enchanted by Madame Music, was initially unprepared to win over her fans—the public. He faced rejection for being too poor and not fitting their ideal.
Undeterred, Nasiru befriended Comedy, Madame Music’s distant cousin, and began to thrive through their partnership, making a name for himself and enjoying the perks of his association with Comedy.
Yet, Nasiru couldn’t forget his first love, Madame Music. He attempted to reintroduce himself as a successful, talented, and ambitious individual. Despite his efforts, the family still recognized him as Comedy’s business partner.
He showcased his achievements, including collaborations with Wande Coal and other projects, but the family remained sceptical, referring to him as Comedy’s work husband. Nasiru even offered Short Skirts, but this did not sway their opinion.

Determined, Nasiru pulled out all the stops. He enlisted the help of notable figures like Joeboy, Pheelz, Wande Coal, Chike, Falz, and 2baba to support his quest. The story pauses as the elders suggest continuing the tale the next day to reveal whether Nasiru’s persistence will secure his place with Madame Music and her fans.
The narrative highlights Nasiru’s gradual acceptance into the family due to his perseverance, approach, and skill. Though initially seen as Comedy’s associate, he demonstrates his worth through his dedication and contributions to Madame Music.
I initially intended to critique 2baba’s collaborations, feeling that other next-gen artists might benefit more. I also wanted Nasboi to be more audacious and to focus on his individuality. However, upon reflection, I realized I genuinely appreciate Nasboi’s journey.
From impersonating Davido to becoming a successful comedian and then a promising musician, Nasboi’s story is inspiring. In an alternate universe, it would be a myth told through generations.
I’m rooting for him as I tell Nasiru’s story, including the anticipated EP release. I’ve come to believe in his vision and dreams. I hope his pursuit succeeds, and I look forward to celebrating his achievements at the reception.
